My husband and I have today returned from a four-day trip to Prague, during which we stayed at the Pension Standard, Rasinovo nabrezi 38. When we booked the hotel we were asked if we could email feedback about the hotel services. We were extremely impressed with the Pension Standard. The location of the hotel was ideal, not far from the main centre of the city. We had a small comfortable room. The service, but the two young ladies working in reception and the two waiters was outstanding - all were very smart, very polite and went out of their way to be helpful. The food served in the restaurant was delicious and there were a large number of dishes to choose from. My husband and I travel a great deal and take at least three foreign holidays a year, and we agreed that the overall service at the Pension Standard was by far the best we have experienced to date. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Prague and if possible, we would be grateful if you could relay our appreciation to the hotel staff.

Everything was o'key, standard was o'key, staff was very nice, polite and very proffessional, so I have got onlu possitive impressions. The only thing which could be improoved, it was appartment - and it was only single beds. It was not a very big problem, but I said that - just to be honest.

I had a great time in Prague, the hotel was very good, the staff very pleasant The only suggestion I would make , is that when booking a room overlooking the river, the client is informed of the noise of traffic etc during the night. I would suggest that overseas clients would not be aware of the noise of the trams and train near the hotel.l Apart from that, it was a great stay - what a beautiful city you live in - I will return

It worked out well that there was only a suite available and within our budget. The quality of accomodation was very satisfactory. Breakfast in the Pension was of a high quality and while I did not have the opportunity to eat in the restaurant I was very impressed with the range and variety of the menu. The service was excellent. The only item which I found could be improved on was the quality of bathroom linen -which was rather old and had seen a lot of service. I must however, compliment the very plesant and friendly receptionist . She was very helpful and accomodating and a pleasure to deal with . I do not know her name but if possible can you pass on our thanks and appreciation. Many thanks for your assistance and I will avail of you services again when visiting the Czech Republic.

To point out the positive aspects first the pension is located within walking distance to the historic centre of Prague. That was what I was looking for. Although the Rasinovo nabrezi is a quite busy street the room we had was absolutely quiet. It was clean and it had all the features mentioned on your home page (Sat-TV, Phone, Minibar, Safe etc.). Compared with German hotels in the same price range the room could have been a little larger. On the other hand some things could be improved: the shower cabin needs to be repaired, the exhaustion fan made loud noises, and the breakfast buffet should be filled up even for the latest guests (like me) who appear five minutes to ten . . . Finally it was - despite of the foggy weather - a pleasant stay in Prague and I will remember the very friendly and polite staff at Pension Standard.

Just to let you know we enjoyed our stay in Prague and also the Pension Standard. The hotel was very good and the staff friendly and helpful. The only negative aspects were that the beds were two singles and not a double. Suggestions for your website would be to have details on : public transportation e.g how to buy tickets and which ones to get and how to use them Thank you for your help and service.

Just to feedback to you. I had no problems with my reservation and the staff at Pension Standard were very helpful - more so than the tourist information in downtown. I enjoyed my stay there and would definitely recommend your services to any of my friends intending to visit Prague. Only 2 minor points 1) There were many exit ponts at the metro station and when I first went there I got out at the wrong exit and had to walk a long distance with my luggage. I think a better way would have been to take a airport bus to any of the major hotels nearby and then change to tram or taxi. 2) On my way back I could take an airport bus to the airport from the hotel so I wonder if there is any arrangement that can be made for airport bus to hotel for arrivals if we can book in advance - it is definitely more convenient than the metro and cheaper than taxi. We had a wonderful visit to Prague, in large part due to the wonderful hospitality we received at the Pension Standard. We were made to feel quite welcome by Ivana, and were VERY happy with out room, which was both spacious and comfortable. I would highly reccommend the Pension Standard to anyone visiting Prague. It was very clean and well located. We have no doubt that we will visit Prague again and will most certainly stay at the Pension Standard. Pension Standard has been very enjoyable and we were very pleased with the standard of service of the hotel and its restaurant Particularly we enjoyed the apartment for 3 people and the view from the window overlooking the river. One very small point , which caused us no inconvenience whatsoever , but which I mention anyway is that the hotel advised us that payment is in cash and not possible by Credit card as you suggested.
