Hotel Vysehrad Reviews:

Sylvia | Spain | 2007-12-13
I have just returned to my home in Spain after spending a very nice four days in Prague. We stayed in the Vysehrad Hotel which we found very comfortable (if a little hot in the rooms) and the staff very helpful and friendly. There was only a small problem, with the pillows, they were very flat, but in no way did this stop us from enjoying your beautiful city of prague. Thank you

We stayed at your hotel last week and must say how lovely it was! Everyone was kind and polite and our room was really lovely. The only thing we did not like was that on one of the web sites it said that you had a pool , gym and sauna and that was why we came to you.So as you can imagine we were really upset to find that you did not have these. However, we thought the hotel was brilliant and spent all our time sightseeing in your wonderful city! Thank you for an enjoyable stay

Now that we are back home in New Zealand, we wish to thank you for our enjoyable stay in your hotel last month, where we had a very nice evening meal on each of the three nights we stayed with you. Everything was to our complrete satisfaction & we shall be pleased to recommend your hotel to our friends. We were extremely sorrow to see on the TV, all the terrible flooding that you recently experienced in Prague & were thinking that your Hotel may have been affected. We hope the damage was not too great for you personally.

The Hotel Vysehrad was excellent for service, for value for money, and especially for its location. It would have cost each of us about Ł70 more to stay in a city centre hotel. The Hotel Vysehrad was only a short walk to the nearest tube station, Prazskeho Povstani. The tube journey was quick and easy, only three stops to Muzeum. We bought a three day ticket at the newspaper shop at the tube station (only 200 Czech crowns, about Ł4) and travelled easily on tube and trams from that moment on. It was important that we remembered to stamp the ticket at the machine, as we were checked by ticket inspectors several times during the weekend. We travelled back to the hotel in the evenings by taxi. This was also quick and easy, and fairly cheap. We had no problems over taxi fares. We also felt safe all the time we were in Prague. We walked a lot and often ended up in restaurants in the Old Town Square. Breakfast at the Hotel Vysehrad was especially good, especially the bacon and eggs. That started our days perfectly. We also had a few drinks in the hotel bar at the end of the evenings. The hotel staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. I booked my hotel room through your agency on the internet. The pictures of the Hotel Vysehrad on your web page give a true impression of the hotel. Your service was excellent, quick and friendly. Thank you for using the English language.
