The tram stop "Botanicka zahrada" is in front of the building. The Prague Botanical Garden is located 150 metres from the house.
In the year 1691 Kristian Herger built a chapel of St. John Nepomucky on the wineyard "Svatosova" in the vicinity of the Faust house (the old Prague tale of Dr.Faust and Mefistofeles is known as a poem of J.W.Goethe). The baroque Church of St. John Nepomucky was erected on this place in the year 1730 by K.I.Dientzhofer. The building of the hotel At The St. John was built in 1902 as an administrative building of the church in the neobaroque style by architect A.Wiehl and is situated below the Church of St. John On The Rock.
Hotel undervent a complete reconstruction in 2014 and offers comfortable accommodation in 15 stylish rooms. All rooms are equipped with ensuite bathrooms and toilets, TV with satellite reception, Wi-Fi internet access, safe and minibar. We offer single, double, triple rooms and also 4 suites, which serves as family rooms suitable for up to 4 persons.
Room no.9 is a spacious triple room with private balcony.
The suite no.10 offers two rooms: one with an unfolding doule bed and the second with fix double bed.
Buffet breakfast is served in the breakfast room in the basement with daylight.
There is nice garden with pleasant sitting at disposal of our guests as well as locked parking.
Reception with non-stop service is located on the ground floor.
